When Obama speaks on foreign policy for Israel and Palestine, not only does he get it completely wrong, in the process he reveals strategies and policies which he has zero business mentioning. He managed to make the government of both countries mad at the United States. I do not know who is advising him, but it is a disaster.
The Israelis need to now that Obama does NOT speak for most Americans. Most of us support the Israeli cause against the aggressors who will look you in the face and smile, as they plan a suicide attack on a restaurant or daycare facility. How the Israelis have been so controlled in their responses is beyond my comprehension. They NEVER attack first, only in defense.
I anxiously wait to see what will happen in his next face-to-face meeting with the Israelis.

When I was a kid, during the cold war, we were told to hate the Soviets. I'm sure they were told something along the same line. In reality, the people of the Soviet Union and the United States would get along great and it was the Governments of both countries that should be doubted. That still applies today.
There is Hope, but it does not lie with Obama, it is in the people!
